Service was beyond excellent! Room was clean but had a strong cigarette smell even though our room was non-smoking. Also when we checked in there was trash on the floors. Breakfast was great! Eggs waffles cereal fruit sausage! Service was even better! Staff was sooo nice. The cook was so friendly and catered to everyone at breakfast. I asked for an early check in and they went to clean my room right away. I liked that I could see the washing room because I saw some white sheets drying in the large industrial dryer. So I knew our linen was clean. Housekeeping checked on us and brought us extra towels and body wash and was very kind. The front desk lady even prepared us yogurt’s bananas and fresh coffee because we checked out before breakfast! I would stay here again :)

We stayed for 11 nights. Every night was fine with the exception of one horrible disturbing night. On Sunday morning at 07:20 am (the one day we could sleep late) dogs started barking in the hallway. I initially really enjoyed this place. And I had intended staying longer but I had gotten my mom a room here as well right next door to my room. Well shortly before we checked out, her little glass acrylic bottle from her nail set had broken. It didn't get on or ruin anything of the hotels but it did smell pretty strongly.. but it was an accident.. anyway I went to book another night for myself and they would not do it due to that and I just thought that was really stupid..

The good: The property was clean, updated and very comfortable...except for that one night..... The bad: Our first night there, we kept trying to lower the temperature in the room because it was too hot. It was a restless, sleepless night. When I asked about it the next morning, they checked it out and found the thermostat was not working. They gave us another room...but without any compensation....when we needed to stay another night (because we got sick), they gave us a 20% off the rack rate, which is the same as the Expedia price. Also, know that if you use Expedia, you will be put on a 2nd floor without an elevator. If you ask if there's a ground floor, they will tell you 'no' without even checking. The facilities were really in good shape...but I just felt they could have done better for us to compensate for the room with a non-working thermostat that did set us up for getting sick and needing to stay another night.
