I cannot overstate how welcome we felt at Posada del Mar. Host Carlos and the rest of the staff went above and beyond at every opportunity to make us feel at home. The property itself is a lovely place to stay with large rooms, comfortable beds and AC. Breakfast was excellent, and the ability to use the spacious guest kitchen and rec room is a real plus. Location couldn’t be better. Carlos even let us use the facilities for a few hours a couple days after our stay when we were passing through town between ferries. 10/10 highly recommend that you stay here.

What a wonderful hotel! It is a very central location and 5 mins walk to the pier - so easy to get to your day trip meeting points quickly. It is also located between 2 delicious restaurants. The staff is nice, friendly, and accommodating. The front desk staff offered great suggestions on where to eat, ordered taxis for us, and provided clean beach towels. The breakfast is a perfect start to the day - just $8 per person. Our junior suite was spacious, clean, and comfortable. There is a mini fridge in the room and a wonderful balcony with a patio table. Highly recommend this place to all travelers.

The hotel is very well located, just two streets from the ferry port and Charles Binford restaurant street. Reception is on the first floor, with rooms on floors 2 & 3, and a lovely restaurant terrace on the 4th floor which has views of the harbour. There is also a large lounge on the 3rd floor, with kitchen facilities and a wonderful terrace. There is no elevator for guests, but not a problem for most people as they do have a small elevator for your luggage, so no need to drag it up the stairs. The room itself is fairly basic but very comfortable, and with the best hot water supply we experienced during our 10 days in the Galapagos Islands. We had a generous size terrace without sea view, but am interesting view nonetheless. Breakfast was lovely - the lady who served us and prepared the food was delightful. Finally, many thanks to the kind gentleman on reception who assisted us with an issue when we checked-in. Overall we could not be happier with our stay here! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
