We just had a 5-night stay at the Philipose hotel. We enjoyed every bit of it. We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. Everything was excellent—the room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect, just a short walk from all the major attractions. We especially enjoyed the delicious Greek breakfast, which was a great start to each day. The service was excellent throughout our stay, and we would happily stay here again. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderfully comfortable stay here. While the hotel is a bit older, the amazing linens and overall room comfort more than made up for it. We also loved the beautiful, scenic view of the Acropolis right from the property. The true highlight of our visit was the staff. Everyone was incredibly helpful, friendly, and always smiling, which made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our entire trip. I highly recommend this hotel for its great hospitality, perfect vistas, and restful night's sleep.

The location of this hotel is amazing for visiting the Acropolis, the Acropolis Museum, and the charming lanes, shops and restaurants of the older central area of Athens. The front desk staff were very helpful and personable, and the selection and flavor of the breakfast buffet very nice. There is a sister or affiliated hotel a short distance around the corner where we enjoyed drinks at its bar/restaurant. Overall, a very nice experience.
