This is a gem! So close to train station and bus station to MP. Opens to a balcony with gorgeous view. Homely breakfast. People are so generous and kind! Have to book again here. Running river is free white-noise throughout night for a good sleep.

The owner of the property wax extremely nice and accommodative, friendly and genuinely hospitable. When we told them we were checking out at 5:30 in the morning. they had packed our breakfast to go. I highly recommend this place.

The property was on top of the bus line that takes you to Machu Picchu but very convenient in case you have to go there. I doubt you'll go to Aguas Calientes without going to Machu Picchu so that's a pretty good spot. The staff was incredibly nice and offered us to stay at their facility when we were just waiting to get the train or the bus. I would recommend that place to anyone.

Friendly host/owner. Very convenient location to the train station. But the rooms lack sound insulation so you will hear the noises from the street and the river all day and night so it’s a minus point for light sleepers.

Hotel Tierra In, close to train and bus stations.

We stayed 2 nights as we visited Machu Picchu. The hotel is close to the bus station to go to Machu Picchu and not far from the train station. Hotel provided a very nice breakfast, scramble eggs, avocados, hams, banana, drinks. There is no elevator to go to the room or breakfast area which on the 6th floor. But you're not supposed to carry any large luggage anyway. Only you might end up walking up and down when you forget something.

LIKED: -great service, friendly and professional (especially Edith!) -Edith arranged a private English speaking guide for our 6am tour of Machu Picchu -Edith walked me to the bus station to buy bus tickets up the mountain -Edith walked us to a restaurant for lunch -Edith provided us with box meals to take for breakfast when we had to leave at 6am -beds were comfortable -hotel room had flat screen tv with netflix already installed -great wifi -great view -hotel had contacted us by email to say that they might have to move us to another hotel due to a plumbing issue, but they managed to move us to another room instead DIDN'T LIKE: -five story walkup to room (hotel has only one room per floor)

Great stay ! I wouldn’t stay anywhere else! The location is perfect! Literally a couple buildings down from the bus station. They made us breakfast to go by our request to catch an early morning bus with with kids. Shower was warm! You could hear the river at night and town. But that’s better than the train station. We were in unit 5 so we were right under breakfast. I just wish they put felt on the bottom of the chairs as we could hear them in the morning scraping but it’s a small building and breakfast ends early. Lots of stairs but we didn’t mind. I think if you don’t like stairs than you won’t like this vacation regardless. The view from the room was worth the stairs :)

We found as a family of 4 this hotel to be excellent. The beds are comfortable, staff friendly, they allowed us to store our bags after check out, breakfast was yummy and my favorite was that its right on the river making it relaxing and great for people watching.

Too noisy! The hotel is right on the Main Street and there is almost no sound proof at all. Heard dog barking all night and buses from 5am.
