Pulling up was a breath of fresh air. Modern and clean. The staff were extremely helpful and kind. Beds were comfortable and had plenty of space for 5 of us. The only caveat is the driver who picked us up from train station did not speak to us at all. It was a bit awkward especially since we asked a question however it did not deter us from having a nice time. A recommendation- it would be nice if the shuttle could drop off downtown to avoid having to use so many Ubers. Great stay- would do it again!

We had a very good stay at the Hyatt Place Anchorage-Midtown while travelling with our two small children. The staff were polite, friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Our room was a good size, spotlessly clean, comfortable and well suited to our family. The swimming pool was good and provided a welcome activity for the children. The hotel was conveniently located for exploring Anchorage and beyond with our hire car, with an abundance of parking available. There are also plenty of good restaurants nearby, including Bear Paw Bar & Grill. Breakfast was fine—nothing particularly special, but it did what it needed to do and gave us a convenient start to the day. We also appreciated the laundry room, which was easy to use and reasonably priced. Overall, this was a clean, comfortable and practical hotel in a convenient location, and we would happily stay here again.
