The only issue was the temperature display on the ac/heating unit went to E5 during the night and it was overly warm. I woke up because of this and was able to get the fan only running but it was still uncomfortable for me and I spent 5 hours tossing and turning with little sleep after that with a long drive ahead of me this morning. The room was cleaner than most for this price. Whomever with Choice Hotels decided that 2 half pillows per person was better for sleeping was definitely wrong, in my opinion 😕

Very old hotel and in need of repair. We had 4 rooms for the family. 1 room the heater didn’t work. Another room had no hot water. They had to move one of the family members to a smoking room. Not good.

The room was one of the dirtiest we've come across. Breakfast was a joke. The refrigerator was so loud that we had to unplug it. The location is convenient right off of the highway, but the surrounding neighborhood is not good. Keep going beyond Charleston!

We ended up forfeiting our money for our two day stay, because they could not accommodate my non-smoking reservation. My husband had to pay separately for a non-smoking room. And I was refused a refund for the separate two days due to a cancellation policy. Again, we were supposed to stay in town for two days, but due to this inconvenience and horrific customer service experience. We only stayed one day in town and drove back five hours to Chicago.

I made a mistake on this nonrefundable booking for the wrong date. I noticed within minutes and contacted the property. I meant to book for the same night. I rebooked and stayed there. Manager said he approved refund but i still havent seen it. Booking company said he refused to refund.
