Lovely hotel with cozy vibes

The hotel was cute, but dated. The room was HOT the entire stay - very little control over temperature (up or down 3 degrees). The light over the bed was large and literally taped to the ceiling which was a bit unnerving. Outlets are scarce and oddly placed around the room. They did have a little fan in the room what was great, though it provided little relief overall.

We had such a lovely stay at Swiss Night by Fassbind! The rooms were a great size, very comfy with lots of amenities. Had a great stay for our few nights in Zurich. Nice location close to Lake Zurich and the old town. Be aware if planning to walk from the train station with luggage that it is uphill. The room was clean and just as advertised. The hotel staff were welcoming and helpful.

Located close to public transport. Swiss charm butthe room on the top floor was awkward and dangerous with sharp slanted edges on the roof windows. Cut my head on it.

I had a pleasant stay overall. The room was clean and suitable for a single guest, and the reception staff were very friendly — especially the team member on the morning shift who was always helpful and welcoming. However, I would not choose to stay at this hotel again for two main reasons. First, the location, while quiet, is in a residential area with very little around. It’s quite far from the main attractions — about a 30-minute walk to the central station, which is challenging for an older solo traveler. Although a tram stop is nearby, it’s still not ideal if you have luggage. Second, the lack of air conditioning was a major issue during Zurich’s early June heatwave. Opening the windows only brought in a swarm of mosquitoes, making it hard to sleep. I hope this feedback helps improve the guest experience in the future.

Was about a 10 min walk to the train or to the river where all the shops and restaurants are. Perfect for a few days. Only ding was a very small elevator to the top floor which could only fit 2 people w/o luggage. Also the 5th floor has slanted ceilings you could ding your head on (which I did a few times as someone over 6ft). Overall great though!

The shower door in the room wouldn't close. The carpet smelled old and moldy, when brought to staff attention nothing was done. The state of hotel doesn't reflect a high price that we ended pay per day. The only that was good was the location and proximity to city center.
