Beach Hotels in Bububu

"This hotel has changed names and there is no signage showing the hotel location. The hotel is being managed by an Egyptian guy. This hotel is in need of alot of renovation. Expedia needs to remove them from posting fake information. Beds are broken, ceiling has big holes. it a a personal home and in very very poor condition. Not hot water. the lock you in the property we waited 30mins to have an attended let us out of the property so we can get dinner. the road is horrible no accessible....

"This villa hotel is very beautiful and clean. The view of the ocean is lovely. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Got great and fresh fruits from the trees with breakfast. The hotel offers nice tours, transportation, lunch and dinner for a great price. I and my family loved and enjoyed it."

"This property is right by the ferry making it the most convenient choice one could make. The rooftop terrace offers great sunset views and the restaurant on the terrace serves tasty Indian cuisine that is top notch. The lobby has a fountain that id want in my own home. I love the paintings on each floor the pool area is filled with greenery and has lots of space. Id highly reccomend this property to anyone visting Zanzibar"

"It is a colorful and safe place with smiling staff. The breakfast is generous. It is very nice that they have drinking water, also hot water and tea bags available throughout the day. AC works in the room, which is very helpful in the African heat. The only thing that Tanzanians cannot get right is plumbing. The shower in some rooms sprinkles water in all directions and leaks from the pipe junction. Otherwise, it is a good place to stay."

"Stunning Hotel in the heart of Stone Town. So much character and charm! Sitting on the balcony watching the streets below was an absolute treat - as was the rooftop restaurant. We tried the seafood tasting menu which included some real gems along with some unfamiliar taste combinations. The call for prayer at the nearby mosque was quite loud - at 5.10 in the morning - but we quickly fell asleep again in the nice 4-poster bed. "

"We wanted to stay in Stonetown in an authentic hotel. Dating from the 1880s we found our place. It was just down a very narrow street from the Freddy Mercury House. It helped to have their staff pick us up from the airport. The rooftop restaurant had a great view of the ocean and town. We ate the special dinner. It was expensive but with so many authentic courses and flavors it was well worth. This is not a glamorous place, but very real. The AC worked well and the room was comfortable. "

The rooftop was nice with some nice views and the location is really good. The breakfast was a bit limited, but so was it everywhere else we stayed in Tanzania. Overall a really nice option for a few days in Stonetown. "

"The building has an interesting history and is furnished and equipped in authentic detail. The location is easy walking distance from the Dar ferry; across the street is a fishermen's beach, which is also where many boat tours start. Food was good both in the main restaurant (overlooking the beach) and in the small coffee shop at street level."
