Beach Hotels in Namibia

Very close to the ocean and the city center.

A lovely hotel located right on the water. Beautiful, large rooms, great restaurants and within walking distance to the main street and beach. My only comment is that I wish the onsite restaurants did not use so much so single-use plastic unnecessarily. Ie. Butter, water and draws.

Sandcastle Apartments is perfect for what it offers. It is self-catering, clean, safe, and a very good home base for exploring Swakopmund, though I would recommend a vehicle for accessing the main downtown/shopping and restaurant areas. What an amazing place and the mgt. was so kind and considerate. I went back twice on my return and was in a bind as I was driving late at night. The mgt. helped organize a room through security since they were not on site due to my timing. So helpful and when mingling with guests there was only a positive vibe (both times).

It was a beautiful old style hotel. It is still under renovation some part of hotel. But it was quite and cozy.

Clean, comfortable, attractive room for N$550, which is a lot less than the higher-end places in town. The location is good; very central with the beach and most of the good restaurants and grocers right near by. A good variety of hot and cold dishes at breakfast. A few minor complaints: the room advertised as 'with view' in fact looked out on a well-traveled sidewalk at ground-floor level -- so anyone walking by had a view into our bedroom unless we kept the heavy curtains closed; noise from...

Comfortable hostel with good communal areas. Location is walkable to restaurants, the beach, and bars. Hosts and employees are friendly and organized.

Wonderful hotel close to everything including beach and restaurants/bars. Only slight complaint is the design of the rooms with the shower in a smoked glass enclosed chamber right out in the midst of the room. Good for couples or friends who are completely comfortable with each other. Otherwise, highly recommended.

Lovely little guest house. Comfortable, cozy, friendly staff. Easy location to walk to shops, restaurants, and the beach.

We stayed two nights in Swakopmund. Our two daughters (9 & 10) loved the two story configuration. The room decor was something akin to Scandanavian/African to me but I liked very much. Great staff (with a special shout out to Millicent for humoring our daughters). Very nice breakfast.

Amazing hotel in the center of Swakopmund. Staf was helpful and kind, room very big and restaurant great. We enjoyed a lot and, for sure, if it's the case we'll repeat :)
