Owner Helen took the time to tell us about the building and all the renovations that have been done and ongoing. The public areas are beautiful, mix of old and new, really suits the place itself, all the staff were very friendly and gave us tips on where to eat out. "Lovely old building with some beautiful original features. The rooms we had were extremely spacious and the beds were very comfortable, I certainly had a great night sleep! Breakfast was superb, a great varied menu and happy to make changes to suit. One big bonus was the enclosed garden which was great for the dogs. Sue and the staff we met were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. We’ll definitely be back!"

"Cottage was in a beautiful setting, peaceful and rural. It was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. Hot tub was perfect. Beds were ridiculously comfy and with the peace and quiet we slept like logs! Tracey the owner was friendly and welcoming and gave us lots of helpful information about the area. And we even had a fabulous welcome from Bella the puppy! We will definitely come back and recommend it to others."

"Other than one issue spoken about with proprietor, who said some works planned, cannot fault. So friendly, approachable and even small touch like providing a large bowl of hot crispy roast potatoes whilst watching the Wales vs France rugby wonderful. Breakfast really good, bed comfortable nights sleep. Would stay again"
