"The location was great and easily walkable to the Third Ward. They were oversold on king rooms so I was switched to a 2x queen room which was still fine. The room was huge and easily could fit a family of four with room to spare. The bed and pillows - super comfortable…to the point I forgot to set an alarm and slept until 10am, whoops. I did want to make a note here that in the gym there were several ceiling tiles that were very visibly soiled and some cracks in the wall. I understand that if they were in the middle of construction that those would be changed, however, I think a sign saying that they are currently fixing things would be a good idea, and definitely checking...

"Dubbel Dutch is a beautifully restored older building on a quiet street a short walk from busy Wisconsin Avenue and Lake Michigan. We chose the hotel because of its proximity to the Milwaukee Art Museum--a 5-minute walk. The hotel retains its charm while being thoroughly updated and comfortable. The amenities were first-rate, and the hotel staff, although not on-site, were responsive and helpful. Easy check-in, easy parking (additional charge, but so convenient), easy checkout.
