"I want to start off with saying this place is for people who appreciate "Texas charm" but, if you're looking for high class lodging this is NOT the place for you. If you're a Texas charm person, you'll appreciate the quirks. The view is hands down there absolute reason you'll book. The other reviews are mad about dust, old furnishing, musty smells, bugs..... IYKYK Texas hill country is about all of the above. I will say our toilet didn't work the first two nights and owner didn't really try...

"Hampton Inn at Oak Hill is our go-to hotel when we visit nearby family in Austin. The road construction can be a challenge initially but hopefully won't last too much longer. Facilities clean and everything seems to be good working order!"
