"Nice hotel, a bit tired looking. Very helpful staff, lovely people. Excellent breakfast. Nice size of room which was a bit cold at first. I would stay here again if in the area."

"Decent place to stay overnight, well decorated comfortable room, it was hot so it did not matter that the old iron windows would not close properly, it may be different in mid winter. Pleasant Friendly staff, sadly no gluten free beers for me. Otherwise absolutely fine."

"Lovely place to stay, the communal kitchen is a really good idea I don't always want a cooked breakfast when I'm traveling,"

"We stayed in the stable block. A beautifully appointed room in a quiet location. Dinning in the pub was of a good standard."

"We arrived early...and Adam was there to tell us about the place. The village is quaint... easy to get groceries if needed. The room was spacious---and we had the little garden door-- we sat outside each evening....listening to the birds. There is a lot of history in this area. Clean rooms. It was a pleasure to stay."
