"Decent place to stay overnight, well decorated comfortable room, it was hot so it did not matter that the old iron windows would not close properly, it may be different in mid winter. Pleasant Friendly staff, sadly no gluten free beers for me. Otherwise absolutely fine."

"It was clean and warm, great for what we wanted. Parking was free. We will definitely stay again. We did find it a little difficult to find we had to put avoid motorway on the sat nav to find it as it's on the old road and sat nav shows new road."

"Lovely place to stay, the communal kitchen is a really good idea I don't always want a cooked breakfast when I'm traveling,"

"The staff were extremely helpful and because I had to leave quite early on Sunday morning they made sure the chef was aware and I was served my breakfast straight away on entering the dinner room. Also very good breakfast."

"Lovely spot to stay, Nicky and Stewart are really friendly and the room was immaculately clean and had everything you’d need for a short break."

"We arrived early...and Adam was there to tell us about the place. The village is quaint... easy to get groceries if needed. The room was spacious---and we had the little garden door-- we sat outside each evening....listening to the birds. There is a lot of history in this area. Clean rooms. It was a pleasure to stay."
