1) Great location - away from city center 2) Only 6 rooms and the staff gave personalized service and attention 3) Hotel restaurant's food was excellent - again they were able to customize the food - our son is allergic to tree nuts and they took care of that very well 4) If you are looking for constant and high speed connectivity to internet, that could be problem

SpiceTree was glorious! Beautifull setting located in the tea plantations overlooking the mountains. Well designed and considered design of hotel for the location. Exceptional service and food. I highly recommend this hotel.

After hopping city to city in India, I was looking for a escape from the noise, pollution, and general chaos. Enter: windermere estate. The room looked over a valley carpeted in tea estates. A naturalist led a trek through the estate each day. Breakfast was sumptuous (who provides a fruit BASKET instead of a fruit cup? These Guys). I basically walked around the estate, breathed in fresh air, read on the lookout point or in the estates library, and got some solace before jumping back into Mumbai....

Our stay at Greenwoods was an absolute pleasure! From the beautiful property grounds, to the spacious rooms, to the great food, and most importantly the amazing staff, we loved every bit of it! Special mentions to the activities coordinator Abin and the outdoor sports coordinator Remo for making it even more special for my son and our family! Would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the Thekkady area!

The location is phenomenal and views are nice. Very peaceful. The food is lousy as its just north Indian mainly for dinner and I didn't come to kerala and not try local food. Was a very big let down.

Very nice hotel that offers all day activities included with your stay

We had an outstanding stay at this beautiful resort. The staff members are helpful and friendly. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and tastefully decorated. There are many activities at the resort, including an adventure course with zip line, yoga, painting, cooking class, dance performance, games room. Wish we had spent a couple more days at this resort.

The resort was really great and the Spa was excellent. Had great food and great service.

This place is about a 15 min drive from the town of Munaar and you can't walk to anywhere from it because it is located down a very steep dirt road that goes down the mountain. They send jeeps up to meet guests at the main road because normal cars have trouble getting up and down the road. Since the town of Munnar is noisy, crowded and hideous (filled with ugly cement block buildings and hundreds of unattractive commercial signs), it is fine staying outside of the town. Good .medium type hotel. Good staff service. very good complimentary indian style break fast. Dinner also very good .waiting time in the restaurant was little longer than expected but it was freshly prepared by the chef based on our order.overall good Hotel
