Wonderful stay in a beautiful, old building! Tons of space with tons of charm! We didn't use the kitchen, but it was well stocked if we had needed to. Short walk to Piazza Garibaldi and all of the wonderful confetti shops! Bed was comfortable and the shower was great. Would definitely stay there again!

If you want to get away from the crowds and relax in the countryside, this is the place! Incredibly beautiful, clean, and well maintained. You will be well cared for. Donatella will prepare regional foods for you that are fresh and devine! It is a little challenging to find and you will likely need a car .. but once there you will return! You will not be disappointed.

This was a wonderful place that I would go back to every time I come to Sulmona. Roberto and Giuseppe were exceptionally helpful. The breakfast was fabulous and the location couldn’t be better. If I could give this place six stars I would!

This property is first class, accommodations beyond expectations and our host was extremely helpful in providing assistance when we needed it.

This is a really beautiful property, and specific to those seeking remoteness. The village is effectively uninhabited, and at the same time offers a dramatic view of the surrounding mountains. A bottle of wine is offered for sale, but if you’re planning to eat in the evening, plan on driving 10-15 minutes to the closest restaurants. Of note, the breakfast was very complete and delicious!

Overall it was excellent, and it offers the best mattress and pillows for an excellent night's sleep!!!

Mario and Massimo welcomed us into their hotel as if we were family. The hotel is beautiful and very clean. Mario was very helpful with recommending someone to help me find information on my family that originated from Castel Di Sangro. That was the reason we traveled to the town and made the difference in our trip to Italy. The hotel, town and the people we met, makes me feel proud to say that my family is from this town. Room was clean and comfortable. Don’t worry with toothbrushes for the guests… supply some tissues! Kitchen amenities were nice and convenient. Great location save for all the barking dogs!

Pros: - Large room with comfortable king size bed with firm mattress(actually 2-single beds placed together) - Room was very clean - There was some dust behind the furniture and under the bed, but nothing terrible.(I inspect with a flashlight).
