It was far away but it was surprisingly beautiful, with a great view, very comfortable, clean and the staff was wonderful! It was a great experience! We fully recommend it.

The location is absolutely stunning and the apartments are simple, clean, and well appointed for prepping meals at home (just note there are zero spices or oils so in addition to your food, you will need to bring any seasonings with you). The shower is hot with great pressure and the beds were comfortable. The air conditioning is a plus as the window in the bedroom did not open, though it was nice and cool when we were there. A welcoming host, comfortable room and great shower, plus the setting is lovely.

All good as others have mentioned. Things to add, A dish towel and some shelves for clothes would be great. The laundry was a big perk - clean the lint trap in the dryer or your clothes will take forever to dry. The stove will lock your usage if you don’t pay attention - put larger pots and pans on the back burner.

Very much enjoyed our stay at Hotel Marqués de Aguilar. The rooms were clean and the staff was courteous and helpful.

This small hotel was the highlight of our trip. The owner greeted us, gave us a tour, and made to he best breakfast we had in either France or Spain. We loved the quiet locale and rural surroundings, and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Practical stay, complete, clean and functional room

Nicely renovated hotel located in walking distance to the downtown Potes. The property is well maintained and clean. Breakfast is good and complete. Most staff speak little English, but you can get by. Parking is limited next to the hotel, but you can park free on the street across the street.

Everything was perfect! The suite we had was spacious, the bed for the adults and the extra bed for the kid were comfortable, the shows had great water pressure. The buffet breakfast was scrumptious. The outdoor pool was phenomenal. We did not use the spa services because they were not open for children.
