Hotel Herzog Georg is a real gem hidden in rural Germany. The size of room is larger than a standard European room and we were very happy to have 2 large size doubles for my wife and 15 yr old son. Breakfast was massive European style and quality was superb. Lots of walking opportunities around town with site seeing and hiking just a short drive away. The roomy had great lighting, was very clean and spacious. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was amazing! I would absolutely stay here again.

The guesthouse is centrally located. Very convenient for exploring Weimar. Nicely furnished room and bathroom. Comfortable and clean. Great shower. No airconditioning, just a ceiling fan. Given that the windows open to outdoor restaurants and the market square it was pretty warm and noisy at night. Airconditioning would have helpful. Communication was mostly online, but staff was available for questions. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in Weimar.

Big hotel with free parking. Free breakfast in the restaurant was a definite plus with many options. Indoor swimming pool was nice also

It was in a quiet neighborhood. The restaurant was perfect. The breakfast was outstanding. The service from all staffs were excellent. I would go back in a heartbeat.

The hotel is very lovely, with comfortable beds and a great breakfast. The hotel personnel is very friendly and forthcoming. All museums of interest are walkable, and so are wonderful restaurants.
