Ansbach District Hotels

We were greeted by the staff member who was very sweet and walked us through the lobby and restaurant, as well as the after hours entry just so we could find our way. In addition, it’s a very easy walk to the town center and very convenient. They also provided a treat for my dog which she loved. I would recommend this hotel and hope to return.

We loved both the hotel and restaurant! The dinner was exquisite, and they were so accommodating to us with our two year old (tons of toys for our daughter to play with at the restaurant!). And the breakfast in the morning was just delicious. We were so sad to leave!

Great service from front desk to dining staff. Hotel is perfectly quaint like the beautiful town of Rothenburg...super clean, beds are comfy & bathroom looks newly renovated.

Absolutely adorable pub/hotel in Rothenburg! Though driving in old town was a little stressful... this hotel has limited parking in the back which was convenient once we had some help finding it. Location is perfect! Especially for Christmas markets. Our room was spacious and warm. We also ate downstairs in the restaurant and the food was absolutely lovely as well as the service. I'm extremely happy with our experience and will recommend this property to others.

We had a great experience with the hotel. The reception was great and the stay. Our primary reason for going to Nürnberg was to see the Christmas Market. The Hotel and the Markets were truly great. The hotel also serves a great breakfast.

A great property easily accessible and convenient to sights in the area. While the property and rooms are pretty basic, it is very clean and has all the essentials and good amount of space. The high ceilings make them feel bigger. My only suggestion is to upgrade the mattresses as they are simply plastic covered foam pads. A perfect place for a night or as a base to explore. This hotel was a little gem. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very yummy and timely every morning. The room was cute and clean. There is nothing bad to be said about this hotel. The location is great, as well!

An exceptional choice for Rothenburg odT Literally, when you step out of the hotel, you are at the most photogenic spot in the village. Breakfast amazing and the staff exceptional! Highly recommend!ed!

The woman who greeted us was so kind and welcoming. I love this little town and would definitely stay at Hocher again. The rooms are nothing extraordinary but all needs are met (note: no irons!) If you do stay, choose room 1 because that view is much better than our view of the window of another room (I believe we had room 3). Quaint hotel in a quaint little town

The hotel was much larger than we expected for the small town of Herrieden, but it was a very nice stay. The breakfast was very nice and we appreciated the scrambled eggs! The room was comfortable, but could use air conditioning in the warmer months. We look forward to coming back!

I didn t look for any luxurious hotel, and this one was just for me, small, clean, familiar. The people, who manage the hotel are such nice people and try everything to help you.
