Hotels in Arumeru

Rivertrees was a lovely start to our exploration of Tanzania. It is located in Arusha less than a ten minute drive from the town and the National Park gate. Our first ever game drive was organized by the hotel and was very productive and exciting. They also organized transport for us from the airport and to our next property. Kiboko Lodge is beautiful and quiet with a warm and welcoming staff. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff is beyond accommodating and amazing. They were so kind and helpful and arranged a driver to take us into Arusha the next day. We booked this lodge very last minute and when we arrived at 11pm they had an entire feast ready for us. Even late at night when we had issues with the power, they accommodated us so that we could charge our devices. I cannot stress how beautiful and special...

Mount Meru is a step back in time. The grounds are beautiful and the staff was extremely kind. We needed a late check out and they were wonderful with that. The dinner was delicious. The breakfast leaves with more to desire although they did have an omlet station which was great. There was plenty of hot water for 3 women to take consecutive showers. I would definitely come back and stay.

Amazing in every way. The airport shuttle felt overpriced, but otherwise everything was truly exceptional. The staff went out of their way to provide an excellent stay and the location was beautiful and well-appointed.

We felt very welcome at Kaswende Farm. Family Kaswende was very hospitable, the farm is a beautiful place a few km away from the main road, between mount Meru and mount Kilimanjaro.

Pillows were too hard..need softer pillows.

With such a low daily cost, I was worried it would be minimal. But to my pleasant surprise, the room I was given was very modern looking. It had its own bathroom, and plugs for charging along with strong WiFi. Nice comfortable queen sized bed and a bunk bed. Deborah and her husband were very attentive hosts.
