A little bit difficult to get there but worth the trip. Very nice and comfortable room. Very well stocked with breakfast foods. Very close and easy access to Wales and Eye Valley.

Great room in the center of town. Feels like an oasis. Staff was so helpful, room was beautiful and clean, food in the restaurant was delicious. Can't wait to come back

Very nice and welcoming owners. The room was quite large and very comfortable. The only downside is that it is bit hard to find, especially after dark. Address numbers are rare and the name of the house is limited in size due to legal limits. There should be a bit more info on how to find the place in the listing or confirmation.

This was truly an authentic overnight stay in a castle built in the early 1500's. The castle was amazing by itself, but our room, Henry VIII, was an experience by itself! It was exactly what we had hoped for and more than we expected. The bedding and towels were outstanding as was the comfort of the bed. The shower was also great plus there was a jacuzzi tub. We could not determine how to turn on the heated towel rack, and we had issues with turning on the fireplace (so did the gentleman...

Great find! Very clean room. American style bar and diner attached to the hotel. Very clean and comfortable room. Great touch was the Quooker style taps in the corridors offering hot and cold water meaning no need for kettle in the room.

Our stay was truly wonderful from start to finish. The venue itself is absolutely stunning—rich in history and full of character—and the gardens are simply breathtaking. Being able to walk down to the River Usk and wander for miles through the open fields was such a special experience.
