"We had a pleasant time in this charming hotel. Excellent service, amazing breakfast, easy parking and a playground for our toddler. The only thing I would complain about is that the hotel has a bar with an outdoor area directly under some rooms. We got one of these rooms, and while the noise was not extreme, you could still hear people talking and smell cigarette smoke. We had our windows wide open (warm summer night) and found it a bit unpleasant. I think the hotel needs to re-think this layout...

"Breakfast is pretty good and diverse. The location is perfect with both the train station and city center a few meters away. We found the room a bit smelly and, therefore, it needed frequent aeration, probably because the carpet floor would require thorough cleaning. The bottle of water in the room at the arrival as well as the towels for the sauna are for pay, which makes you feel a little bit less welcome, especially in a hotel of this category and price range."

"Our check in was easy and we were shown to our apartment and where to park our car in an enclosed, locked lot. We were just a few minutes walk to the city center of this charming town. There were lots of choices for eating and shopping nearby. Our 2 bedroom apartment was an upgrade from the 1 bedroom we had reserved. The kitchen was immense as well as the patio/balcony which could seat 8 comfortably. September was the perfect month for exploring the old town of Goslar. "

"Very nice place, great lodges, friendly staff, well equipped for children and a great location for seing harzen. But it is expensive. They will charge you 2.5 euro per person per day as an extra energi tax, which is not a part of the pricing on expedia. And a 'kur' tax, whatever that is. Childrens bed and baby chairs are also not included in the price (which I would expect from a 4 star, family friendly establishment).
