This ia a fabulous old old hotel/monastery and museum, that is why I do not give a five in the condition but it was absolutely perfect for a one night stay going to the market. Paula the manager gave us a very interesting tour of the place and Manuel our personal attendant was very attentive, He built us a fire that lasted all night. The place was great value for the money. You are about a 10 minute ride from the city center finding a tuc tuc was pretty easy. We were charged anywhere from 10 to 25 Q per ride per person. It depended on the person and they can be negotiated with. The place is a steep walk up so just consider that if you have a lot of bags.

This was a beautiful hotel with wonderful views of the lake. The room was clean; bed was very comfortable; it was very quiet. The restaurant upstairs had great food and overlooked the lake. The staff was helpful. There was a discrepancy in the Expedia price and the hotel price and the manager honored the Expedia price. I would highly recommend this hotel. This location is an excellent option for solo travelers. It is clean, flexible, and comfortable. It was a challenge to find the place due to the address being incorrect in the app, but I was able to find it by simply searching for the name.

Absolutely lovely hotel! I definitely would stay again. It’s clean, the rooms are simple but colorful and comfortable. And the views! The view of lake Atitlan and the volcanoes is stunning. The boat dock is at the hotel’s doorstep making getting around the area easy.
