Incredible quiet contemporary ryokan with the most amazing meals included. Top floor spa was lovely. Very nice that they provide swim wear since it is a coed sauna and soaking pool. Return communication would be nice when asking for transportation. Also, being able to request transport via text with a confirmation text would be nice rather than having to call.

Staff are helpful, rooms are clean, food served is excellent. Hotel's location is convenient.

Great location, very spacious and comfortable!

This hotel was a splurge for me on my recent trip to Japan and I think it was totally worth it!! I stayed one night on a visit to Izumo Grand Shrine, but I wish I could have stayed much longer. I picked a suite with a gorgeous private outdoor bath and little garden. I loved the public baths as well, there are 2 of them, and 5 first-come-first-served private baths. Free late night ramen and ice cream is so great. The staff members are wonderful!

모든 것이 깨끗하고 스태프 친절하며 조식도 매우 훌륭합니다. 다만 마쓰에 역에서 10분 정도 걸어야 하는데 더운 날씨에는 쉽지 않습니다. 역에서 lakeline 버스를 타면 방법이 있습니다.

Clean room, good onsen but the color of the room wear was depending on the floor you stay and that was odd.

Very convenient location for the train station. Comfortable room. The onsen was nice, and the free late night ramen is delicious and a very fun perk!

Good location near Izumo Taisha - great breakfast - wonderful little sushi restaurant nearby, too

Room was clean, location short walk from bus and train, staff was good. Recommend rental car or plan to use local bus as taxi is difficult to find at certain times and locations. The sightseeing circle bus only goes in 1 direction and is very inconvenient unless your desired stop is nearby otherwise it takes a very long time.

Loved shrine next door, nearby National Park, and fishing out front.

What a wonderful stay, this location is off the beaten path for foreigners but it is such a hidden gem. It had an onsen, free drinks within a time limit, restaurant on premise, a show by performers every night, a beautiful garden and yukatas to borrow. My only regret is that I didn't stay longer. Also while they do offer a shuttle, and bikes to rent, please make sure to inform them so they can be ready to take you/accomodare you. This is probably one of the best experiences that I have had whilst travelling. Don't be misled by the "hostel" designation of this guest house - it is really a boutique, luxury residence in the heart of Daikon Island. First and foremost, the guesthouse owner, who speaks very good English, was very kind and drove me around the whole day.
