Our first time in Barcelona and Magatzem 128 was the perfect place to stay! We are two college students visiting for spring break and this was a lovely boutique hotel with extremely wonderful hotel staff; everyone at the front desk spoke multiple languages and catered to everything we needed whether it was booking a dinner reservation, suggesting local sights to see, or simply supplying us with orange juice and extra muffins at breakfast. I thoroughly enjoyed my 3 night stay. Service and staff were first rate. Several restaurants and cafés close by. Nice quiet neighborhood that's well within walking distance of most major sites. Would definitely stay here again.
I enjoyed my stay at this hotel - it's location is close to everything without the crowds and noise of the heart of the city. There is a metro stop right by the hotel, great restaurants nearby, walkable to all points downtown! The hotel is right next to Escriba - fantastic pastries, chocolates and breakfasts. I like the boutique feel; although my room wasn't big, it was comfortable, and having a terrace room is a plus! Definitely will stay at this hotel, should I return.
Well run hotel near Passeig de Gracia though not as touristy, which makes it a quiet place to stay. You can eat like a local with the bars and restaurants nearby. They can also get a cab for you if you need one. Theres also a supermarket next door.

From the very beginning we were greeted warmly and cordially. After 17h traveling, we messed up with the locked the door with the key inside and it required a lot of work. Ana and Robert handled it extremely professionally and I really appreciate it. For the rest of the stay, we couldn't have asked for more. A quite assorted breakfast bar constantly being replenished, a nice bright and clean room with enough space for our luggage, very stable wifi...
It is an aparthotel, I suggest to have some cooking oil, spices, dish washing soap & cloth for short term customers for 3 to 6 days of stay. We bought some of those things but we only stayed for 4 days, also one must know how to operate a electric stove top.
The property is closed to Metro & a few bar restaurants.People here eat late just in case one doesn't know dinner is at 7 the earliest.
Perfect for our needs. We were only in town for 1 night. Room was clean, staff were nice. Easy check-in and out, and easy instructions for entry. Did not need to use storage lockers, but that is a huge plus. Would absolutely return again agin as it is conveniently located to great shopping and restaurants.
Love it the location, the space and the check in process. Make sure you send them the information in advance and follow the checkin directions - including the app you need to access the apartment. Very easy process
The hotel is convenient to many restaurants, bakeries and stores. The metro is close and there is an abundance of cabs and buses to take you everywhere. The hotel is within walking distance to most historic sites. It is a tremendous adventure to walk places. The locals fill the streets and open-air, sidewalk cafes are places to gather for a meal, coffee, or a glass of wine.
