2 Star Hotels in Dreta de l'Eixample

I loved staying there. Our rooms could have used more storage space, like a dresser. It would also been helpful if they had a laundry service or could refer us to one nearby. These are but minor tweaks. We loved the place and would recommend it to anyone.

Excellent area and location. Spacious and clean. Highly recommend.

I usually don't leave reviews even if I'm satisfied. But this hotel is really very good. The clean and friendly staff and location are very good. I arrived at 3 a.m., but the staff welcomed me so warmly and the clean room had a subtle aroma that I could sleep well. Also, the Saturday free tour provided by the hotel is highly recommended.

Wonderful staff, very helpful

We loved this hotel. The room was huge with high ceilings, beautiful light, nice balcony, and very comfortable bed. They also generously set up a portable cot for our baby which was ready when we arrived. The location is very central, walkable to everything, but quiet at night. Thy even had fresh pastries available in the lobby in the morning. The person who checked us in was incredibly sweet, made our arrival after a delayed long-haul red eye flight as pleasant as possible! Muchas gracias!!

Great value. I had a twin room and booked my mom a deluxe (I'm nice) so we got both ends of the experience, can say both were very good value for what we paid. Lobby is trendy and clean. My mom's deluxe room felt luxurious and had a great view, mine was a tiny but incredibly efficient twin room that was everything I needed, great shower, plenty of storage space, incredibly inexpensive for the location. Easy access to everything you could want.

Great value, great place to stay.

Very clean and safe hotel! I would definitely stay here again. Hospitality was excellent.

This place was absolutely amazing - clean, great location. Only two metro stops away from Casa Batllo and right on the plaza. The only light downside was that there was no elevator in the building but that's pretty typical for old European buildings.

The location is excellent. We walked to everything we wanted to do. Great to meet up each morning in the coffee room. Excellent shower. I like older buildings that have been modernized into charming hotels. It was difficult for taxi driver to find when arriving from airport...made us feel as if we were staying in a hidden gem. Great food nearby. Try Nacional, an upscale food market, or Ceveseria Catalan, great tapas.

Staff was friendly, facilities were prob remodeled relatively recently because it was in great condition. The room was clean, no issues with bugs. Proximity to Gothic Quarters made this an excellent location. However, at night, you shouldn't go west because you'll quickly end up in a very shady neighborhood.

The property was central to Metro stations and an easy home base to navigate around the city. It had an Old Town charm was a perfect place to call home for 3 nights!

The property was in the hear of Barcelona and within a 10 min walk from a metro station. I enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, although it may seem light for those used to heavier breakfasts. The rooms were nice and the complimentary slippers were a nice touch. I had to check in after hours and the staff provided detailed instructions that I was able to follow. The biggest downside is that there are some nightclubs nearby and their music is audible in the night. I was able to sleep though it,...

Diego and Gustavo were so helpful and accommodating. The rooms are simple and cozy but very clean and comfortable. It’s a very safe area and easy for transportation. The elevator and the marble stairs up to the hostal are very Euro - great hostal!

Nice hotel, not fancy, but great location and price.

Casa Vaganto was the perfect place to call home during our stay in Barcelona. Every detail was thoughtfully designed for both beauty and function...and the entire staff was kind, genuine and helpful. We are so grateful to have found this gem. It will be an unforgettable part of our journey.
