"Centrally located. Great hotel with nice amenities. Cozy lounge with fireplace near small bar. Bartenders were just that…..the real deal. Rooms were clean and spacious. Overall great value."

"Overall hotel was very good with modern feel. Breakfast was excellent with large choice of high quality food. Our room was hidden at far end of corridor in the lower levels so felt unwelcoming. The room was quite warm however unable ti open windows more than a crack. Also building site where work started at 7am outside the window. Window insulation good so could only hear with windows open."

"We rented a two-bedroom apartment for our 3-night stay in Oslo. Location of the apartment was fantastic and quiet. The apartment was very clean and had all the amenities for cooking, which we did not use. I had a little trouble with the second room—the overhead light would not stay on (so I used the light beside the bed) but the bathroom light worked fine. There was a nightlight that came on automatically—very helpful. Also, my shower would not turn on but the shower in the main bedroom did so it was not a problem. There was paid parking right next to the building—very convenient! Since it was our first stay in Norway, there was a steep learning curve, but the person I called at Vanderbilt was able to answer my question about where we were allowed to park."

"You only get one bath towel and no bathmat, I had to ask for an extra towel for the floor as it was extremely slippery when wet. With open windows trams running on the street below made it very noisy. In room hot plates and frig were handy if you cook, free coffee was also available. It is 2 km from Central Station but National theatre station is 10 mins walk and the palace is 5 mins walk. A basic hotel for a reasonable price in an expensive city."
