"This is one of my top 5 hotels (Old Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong, original Oriental Bangkok, La Posta Vecchia nr Rome and Hotel Certosa Di Maggiano... and okay, the Balmoral in Edinburgh too). If you like late Art Deco then you will be in heaven, with a fantastic history. Most of the staff were lovely, Anabel and Marie in particular, with just a couple being offhand or brusque which was a shame. Overall, a stunning place in a great location in a fabulous city..."

"I really enjoyed my short stay here! I had a smooth check-in and out! Front desk staff were usually very friendly and helpful! The room was clean, modern, comfortable and had all the basic things I needed! I loved the fact that there was like a food plaza just like less than 5min walking distance from the hotel! I also liked the convenience of transportation, either bus or train, nearby. Bonus points, they offered luggage storage post check-out at no additional cost! Recommended!"

"You only get one bath towel and no bathmat, I had to ask for an extra towel for the floor as it was extremely slippery when wet. With open windows trams running on the street below made it very noisy. In room hot plates and frig were handy if you cook, free coffee was also available. It is 2 km from Central Station but National theatre station is 10 mins walk and the palace is 5 mins walk. A basic hotel for a reasonable price in an expensive city."
