It's also full of great shops and seafood restaurants, so you can spend the afternoon having a wander. If you want to see more of the museums in Tokyo, you can easily walk to Bank of Japan or Mitsui Memorial Museum.
If you're planning a bit of sightseeing head to Kirin Statues— just one of the monuments in Chuo. Tokyo has many other landmarks you might want to see such as Tokyo Imperial Palace and Sensoji Temple.
We had a wonderful experience from the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out. The front desk staff was professional and welcoming. Our room was spotless. The beds were comfortable. It had very nice amenities. The shower was amazing. You can have free snacks in the afternoon and evening. The location is convenient. I cannot say enough good things about our experience.

The hotel's ambiance was simply beautiful, and the rooms were surprisingly spacious for a city known for compact spaces. Its prime location, just a 5-minute walk from a JR line, made navigating Tokyo incredibly convenient. This was a well-maintained hotel with wonderful staff. The room itself was lovely and has great amenities. The 3 twin room was surprisingly spacious for 3 people. The on-premises restaurant was great too.
The location is quiet and spacious which is a nice change from the surrounding metro area. It is literally next to a train station so transit is a breeze.
My only real complaint is that the laundry facility was too small. There were often 2 hour lines of folks waiting to get loads...
The Narita Airport limosine bus stops directly at this hotel, so it's very convenient if you don't want to carry a bunch of luggage on the shinkansen/local trains. There's a FamilyMart in a section of the building, on the second floor. The nearest metro station is the Akasaka-mitsuke station, and use the D exit (the yellow blocks on Google Maps). Very good location and close to Tokyo Station. We really appreciate the receptionist, Mr. Lau, he went extra miles to accommodate to our needs. Will definitely stay in this hotel again in the future.
The hotel room was huuuuge compared to other hotels- we even had a little balcony! The washing machine in the unit helped SO much. It was a bit difficult to get from the station to the hotel with large bags because there isn’t an exit with an escalator/elevator that we could find but it’s completely doable. The staff let us wait in a private lounge with water and vending machines until it was time for check in which was amazing!
We stayed for two nights. It is a perfect location if you want to visit Sensoji Temple. Breakfast buffet is excellent to start your day. Room space (we have the large corner room for three beds) is a little tight but not a big problem if you don't have large amounts of luggage. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. The Tokyu Stay Shinjuku is conveniently located close to train stations, shopping, dining and nightlife. The property was clean and quiet. My room was cozy but well-appointed and I liked being able to do laundry in my room. The water pressure in the shower was amazing and the hot water was plentiful. I would definitely stay here again but if I were traveling with others would reserve a bigger sized room.
Great hotel that’s a short walk to the heart of Shinjuku and all it has to offer during the day and night! Still a quiet room though. Room was on the smaller side but you’re hardly in it anyway since you’re exploring Tokyo!
I always stay at Sotetsu Fresa Takadanobaba whenever I'm in Tokyo, and for good reason. The location is incredibly convenient—just a short walk from Takadanobaba Station, which connects to the JR Yamanote, Seibu Shinjuku, and Tozai Lines.
