"Este hostel é muito bom para quem gosta realmente de hostil. A localização é boa, está perto de tudo no Centro. A nossa vez, não saía água quente, se não, o resto é razoável "
"I travel a lot and Avani has one of the best hotel breakfast experiences. It's also in a convenient location with nearby coffee/bakery shops and a small shopping center attached. I definitely recommend staying at this hotel if you are looking for a central location with plenty of shopping options. "
"Stayed at the hotel for six nights whilst working in the city. Got to know the staff very well. They're very friendly and provide a great service. The hotel may not have the infrastructure of a four star hotel but the service is definitely there. Rates are also in little high for the country but affordable. It would be nice if they provided more TV channels and upgraded some of the decor."
"I like the guest house and can recomend it. It's not really at the city town but close to Windhoek town center. Suitable for couple band Honey moon .Taximan struggled to find the location but easily find it when picked me to the airport. It's close to the shops."

An excellent B&B in Windhoek, close to the downtown area. The lodgings are excellent on all counts, very secure and in a quiet neighbourhood. The staff were extremely courteous, friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and spaceous.
The owner took a personal interest in our comfort. The overall setting was very pleasant and peaceful. Breakfast offered a variety of options, with staff at the ready for questions or assistance.
The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful and the rooms are clean and pleasant. The location is a little further from downtown than I would have preferred, but it is still walk-able, and as a bonus Joe's Beerhouse is not too far away!
The staff was incredible and the facility was inviting. The food served at breakfast and dinner was superior to any restaurant in which we could have dined. A wonderful overall experience.
I only stayed one night, because of the price I wasn't expecting much. I was very surprised to see the room was tastefully decorated. Some may say it was dated. I saw a peaceful place where I could rest.
I was tired and didn't want a heavy meal, but, I asked the staff for a fruit salad. So made one and it was great. I couldn't wait for the included breakfast.I love breakfast and it did not disappoint. I had aond a freshly made omelet, fruit and cereal.
The internet was good and the TV had good...
The family atmosphere was pleasant and relaxed, and the hosts were friendly and kind. We really did have giraffes visiting us for breakfast, they made sure of it, along with a lovely oryx.
Breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented, served by the excellent, considerate and light-hearted waiting staff. When I appeared to have lost my passport just before leaving, Stephanie on the front desk instantly jumped into fully supportive tracking mode, and together we found it. The approach to service seemed excellent throughout all the staff I encountered.
Antonio was a fantastic host. I would recommend that anyone looking for a place to stay in Windhoek stay at Maison Ambre. He will look after you like family, or even better, like a life long friend.
