On arrival, I was assigned a room which turned out to be only half cleaned. While staff were in general pleasant and the setting in central Windhoek is very convenient, service for meals was often very slow. The rooftop deck is a plus. But in general not the level of service I expect from a Hilton and for the price.

The room was nice however did not like the open bathroom concept. There was no door between the bedroom and bathroom. Bed was comfortable and wifi worked well. The Hilton is in a quiet part of town close to some sights but not so to restaurants.

I don’t know who gave this hotel 5 stars! Maximum 4 stars. I was given the worst room at arrival. Asked to change, then given a better room that wasn’t properly clean. Had to wait 4 hours for someone to finally clean the bathtub. Caroline was the only helpful staff. And the restaurant and bar staff were also super nice.
