"Riad is around 5’ walking to the famous square and express airport bus 19 stop/taxi/tour pickup point. However it’s surprising quiet due to locate in a typical walking alley in Marrakech. The server breakfast lady and gentleman are so nice, even they are so busy early in the morning to serve multiple guests hurrying to catch the early tour departing. I asked if I can have an early quick coffee/breakfast at 7:30am (before 8am normal hour) and they are so kindly prepared before my early tour....
"The service and rooms are great . Breakfast also yummy. The only suggestion is to add some kind of variety proteins to the breakfast. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Very clean and spacious riad."
"It’s an amazing hotel Riad which means it is a traditional courtyard building in the old Medina historical which is a maze so expect to get lost a few times but I tipped some local kids and they lead me to the hotel
No sign on the building FYI
Super clean , air conditioned , super friendly staff."
"This riad was a wonderful place to stay in Marrakech. The team truly makes the difference: everyone was extremely kind, attentive, professional and always ready to help with suggestions or arrangements. The location is perfect, allowing you to easily reach many of the city’s main attractions while still enjoying a peaceful atmosphere. The riad itself is a beautiful example of traditional Moroccan interior design, recently renovated with great care and high-quality finishes. A stylish, authentic...
"Magnifique Riad plein de charme au calme. Très bon petit déjeuner. Possibilité de manger sur place le soir.
Le propriétaire est très gentil et de super conseil et il nous a beaucoup aidé.
Magnifique séjour. "
"Lovely suite, perfect location right next to Gueliz. Very quiet area but what really impressed us was the staff service, everyone was so kind and helpful, especially the reception staff and the stuart who called a taxi for us on the last day. Amazing food, the restaurant is very classy and food so fresh and delicious, we had dinner there and were quite impressed, also the buffet breakfast has many options and lots of good food"
"We had an incredible stay. The staff is some of the friendliest people i have ever encountered. Totally amazing. The breakfast was delicious and the choices changed every day. The coffee was top notch. The pool was super nice with comfortable sun lounges . Everything was very clean. Our room was cleaned too perfection every day. I would highly recommend this hotel. "

If you want to give your credit card some exercise, head out to Zaouia El Abassia in Medina. Splash some more cash at Souk Semmarine, Souk Zrabi, and Ensemble Artisanal.
The building is incredible--it is three levels with two salons and a courtyard with a fountain on the first floor, three rooms--each one decorated differently on the second floor, and a roof top terrace on the third floor. The owner has lovingly restored it all and the craftsmanship is amazing.
The bed was comfortable and the room and bathroom spacious. Breakfast is served on the lovely terrace with homemade yogurt and jam and crepes and fresh squeezed oj each day. Also the wifi worked well and...

We really enjoyed our stay at Riad Ysalis. If you're looking for a true local experience in a Riad within the Medina, this is it. This was our first trip to Marrakech and the staff made us feel welcomed and at ease. They took care of transportation needs, restaurant recommendations and really went over and above to ensure our stay was perfect. The entire staff is very nice and we felt like we were staying with a family. The rooms are spacious and the property is very clean. We ate at their...
I was nervous about this trip. Our first Riad cancelled on us. I had to book this one last minute. They were nothing short of amazing. They had a car meet us at the airport and dinner ready for us the first night even though we got there late. The room was clean and the staff was amazing. We also received spa services which were fantastic!
Everyone was very nice and helpful! It was my first time in Marrakech and i only stayed 2 nights, 1 before and 1 after a 7 day tour. Hamza was very helpful arranging cabs for me, the dinner was delicious, and everything was in great condition. The beds are VERY firm though, so be aware!
This Riad is a little bit of paradise. The staff were excellent and rescued us twice when we became lost in the Medina. The room was the very nice with windows and a french door that opened to a wonderful rooftop terrace.

Couldn't have asked for a nicer stay. Beautiful riad inside the marketplace in Marrakesh - but NO noise at all from outside. Staff were amazing; every request handled immediately with great attention to detail, and wonderful warmth and courtesy. They truly cared about making every guest feel welcome. The breakfast, which we had served to us on the rooftop, each day, was a great variety of tastes and textures - freshly made. Our toom accomodation was a two floor "apartment", with beautiful...
This hotel will take care of you and get to know you. The room was timeless and a classic Moroccan beauty. This hotel was the best part of our trip to Marrakesh. The Jazz Bar essence and atmosphere is outstanding. I felt like I had been transported in time but with all the amenities. I have stayed in many 5 star hotels and been disappointed before but this one gets it right. We felt no need to even leave the hotel in the evenings with the jazz bar and two restaurants. Breakfast is also...
This place is beautiful, I could not stop taking pictures. The staff is amazing and super helpful, the breakfast is delicious and the location is great, a couple minutes walking from the souks. Would definitely recommend staying here.
For me, what distinguishes a good stay vs. a great stay is the level of service. From the moment you arrive at the Riad Cocoon, the owner (Corrine) personally greets you and makes you feel so welcome in her beautiful riad. She has everything prepared for your visit and will personally ensure all your needs are met - dinner reservations, taxis, excursions, etc. The staff are very attentive and will make sure your stay is comfortable. Breakfast is served on the sunny rooftop terrace overlooking...
Traveling with an old friend from high school, we shared a room with two beds. Patrick was the most charming and helpful of hosts, and the entire staff made us feel welcome. The riad is beautifully appointed, with no detail left untouched. Ali met us at the airport, and together with Patrick, they helped us plan a desert excursion.
