The staff was very friendly and were very happy to share the history of the buildings. The room was gorgeous and well thought out. It was one of our favorites stays during our 10 day trip to Ireland. Great value for you money.
My wife was particularly impressed by the water pressure in the shower. And i was a fan of the vegetarian curry. And as expected, the staff was friendly and attentive.
Great location! Can easily walk into town and see off of the sites. Very charming accommodation, just as pictured. Fully equipped kitchen. Hosts could not be nicer with recommendations and making sure everything is ok. Amazing breakfast.
Bishops Gate is a rare find in Derry! It is impeccable is so many ways… friendly and helpful staff, beautiful bar, delicious breakfast, and perfect location. We stayed 2 nights and had a relaxing stay. Need to come back and stay longer!
Nice place, wonderful water pressure in the shower. Margaret was welcoming and gave an excellent suggestion for dinner nearby (The Cosh Bar and Grill). When we checked in Margaret asked for our breakfast order and what time we wanted it....that was very helpful and allowed us to get on our way early. Would definitely stay here again.
Very comfortable, beautiful park across street, swell morning breakfast and the family is great and helpful with things to recommend to do in the area.
The staff was very generous and gave us extra space at no extra cost. The facilities were clean, the breakfast was great and we could walk to everything we wanted to see.
Very nice hotel. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Clean comfortable rooms. Right next to thje Butcher's Gate in the city walls. Close to most everything.
Quality rooms right inside the city walls of Derry. Easy to walk anywhere, and I never found myself bored. Staff were friendly and quick to make tailored suggestions for what to see, eat, and do in town. Note: not easy to find laundry in town and Number 8 doesn't offer it directly, so do your washing before the stay if necessary!
Super-friendly staff, very nice upgraded room and facilities, fine restaurant, great location in Londonderry. Wish we had planned to stay longer. Highly recommended.
