"Great stay at Cutwater. We would book this inn again for sure. They do not have dedicated parking but there was never any shortage of available free on street parking within a few hundred feet of the front door and we were there during 4th of July weekend. There is a secure parking garage 400 feet away and tons of public metered parking downtown if necessary. Almost everything we wanted to do in Newburyport was within walking distance of Cutwater which kept our weekend really relaxed. The suite...

"This is a great base for walking to the towns bar and restaurants as well as exploring this lovely coast line. Carol and her grand daughter Sadie were the perfect hosts and made a nice fuss of us during a delightful continental style breakfast. We parked on Central Street, a little easier than Pike Street, but the hotel has enough for one car per room.
Rooms are all Suites, we had a 2nd floor room, which was well appointed, comfy bed and very clean bathroom..

This hotel was wonderful. It was a large, clean space. We stayed bc we were attending a wedding in the area. We even forgot our dress & suit in the closet. We called & they gladly held the items for us so we could return & pick them up. There was a lovely park in the area for my 2yo. I highly recommend this hotel. We had a great stay!
We were in suite 18 which is on the third floor. There are a lot of steps to walk up but the view was amazing. Everything else was great. I would highly recommend it.
I absolutely LOVED staying here! My room was wonderful. I had THE BEST nights sleep! The bed was awesome. The innkeepers are wonderful and tremendously accommodating. The ‘continental breakfast’ was way more extensive. So very nice. And the location is in the heart of Newburyport, making it easy to walk everywhere. This area is so very lovely and I’m grateful I discovered this Inn! I hope to return again someday! I highly recommend Clark Currier Inn.
Great location, walking distance to everything. Allows us a zero stress gateway with off street parking, three room suites, common areas for socializing and private area with the fireplace. We bring extra duraflame logs.

Great staff, beautiful aesthetic and charming. We happened upon the Briar Barn looking for a quaint place to sleep for the night. This place was beyond our expectations and we are already planning another visit, with friends, to stay and see the sights of the area. We are New Yorkers and were so impressed by they service, the cleanliness, the vibe, the amenities and the space. We will come back and recommend to others.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this hotel. Super clean, you are pampered, breakfast was amazing. Rooms are stunning with everything you could need including robes.
The Surf House is very clean and tidy. Pool was great, mattresses were amazing and checking in was a breeze. They were able to accommodate a couple of last minute requests without issue. The staff, especially Hannah, were wonderful.
First of all… customer service was excellent! Super helpful, check in was super easy. Room was beautiful, clean and with everything that you could think you could need. The view towards the ocean was beautiful and everything exactly the way it was described. Can’t wait to go back and rent it again ..,
