Hotels in Marshan

Great place, location, and hospitality. We stayed for 3 nights with no complaints. Thank you Zoco Riad!

Excelente opción en Kasbah en plena medina, pero a 30m de donde te deja el taxi. Excelente atención del personal. Y muy buen desayuno en magnífica terraza.

The decor and staff are wonderful. It is also in a great location. The breakfast is not as good as it used to be, however. It used to be in the main dining room and included a lively scrambled egg dish. Now only hard- boiled egg plus a lot of bread and some fruit. So please make breakfast better. Plus room number 4 is quite noisy. I would choose another for sure.

Could Matisse be wrong? He stayed at this hotel, one of the oldest in North Africa, and painted the view from his room. You can still enjoy it, as the room has been preserved as a mini-museum. The hotel is perfectly located, close to the medina and just a short walk to the kasbah. The staff could not be more helpful. Find out why Franklin Roosevelt, Paul Bowles, William Burroughs, Tennessee Williams and many, many more luminaries loved this storied hotel.

This was our first visit to Morocco and we wanted to be in the medina. We loved this hotel! The staff was very friendly and gave excellent recommendations. Breakfast was fantastic; we ate once on the rooftop terrace and once on the floor underneath. We recommend getting to breakfast right when it starts and not sitting on the rooftop—it gets a little hot and the seagulls can be a nuisance. The hotel is a five minute walk to the kasbah and good restaurants, and maybe 20-25 minutes to the...

restaurant is nice. hotel is nicely decorated and clean,

Wonderful stay with old world charm. Breakfast on the roof terrace especially delightful. Staff and owner very kind and attentive. Highly recommend.

The hotel is old, but has excellent maintenance. The facilities are very comfortable, a large swimming pool, large restaurants, a wellness building with: gym, hot pool, hammam... You can walk to the Medina and the old city. The buffet breakfast is very generous. 100% recommended

If you want a true Moroccan experience, this is the place for you. Comfortable bed, clean linens, plenty of hot water, beautiful decoration, helpful staff and perfect location. You can feel safe here as the main entrance door is always locked and is not on the main street. The breakfast which is part of your stay is wonderful. Plenty of local pancakes, croissants, jams, jellys, honey, pistacho yoghurt and wonderful coffee. TV in room works wonderfully, but do expect to have internet...

Cleanliness, staff, breakfast, room service.

Yonness the manager is the best. So helpful and accommodating. Great breakfast and food. I highly recommend this hotel and location.

We loved staying in Dar Tanja. Amenities, staff and food all wonderful. Excellent breakfast, Amira the best hostess ever. The only thing it was very disturbing was the price of the city tax, Travelocity said pay at property one price and the final tax was 10 times more. Better communication between the hotel and the agency would prepare us better.

My mother and I arrived late at Dar Rif and were welcomed by Fouzia, she made the experience of checking-in after a long day a breeze. She helped us to our room and served us tea, making sure we were taken care of the whole time. We only stayed one night due to travel, but we will definitely be back for a longer stay in Tangier!

As an older solo woman traveller, I appreciate helpful and caring staff ready to help in all ways. Delightful budget hotel conveniently located at the Medina's edge with excellent dining options. Love, love this hotel!

Excellent apartment in Tangier. Wonderful staff and less than 30 minute walk to beach and market area.
