I have had the opportunity to visit the Melia Hotel in Yangon on various occasions over the years. I consider it my second home, where I always feel clean, safe, and conveniently located within walking distance of Myanmar Plaza, where you can find quick dining and shopping options. The staff is exceptionally friendly, kind, and helpful in every aspect of their service. I highly recommend the Melia Hotel to both business and leisure travelers. A visit there will not disappoint.

We stayed for 5 days in Yangon, and the hotel was excellent. The room was very comfortable with all the necessary amenities and breakfast was delicious. But the best part is the service. Location is excellent compare to other hotels in Yangon. The distance from airport is not far. It's good to have an early morning walk on lake bank across the road, but be careful of the cars when crossing the road in Yangon. The breakfast is excellent, much better than Mandalay Sedona. Also the surrounding area is much better than other big hotels in Yangon. I stayed at Sky View during my return to Yangon in December 2017. The hotel is far away from the congested downtown area. It's quiet, close to Shwedagon so I could walk or take a cab there to visit it in the early morning before the pagoda gets crowded. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. We had an excellent stay for our 8th Anniversary. The room was beautiful and the service was top-notch. The best part was the guest policy, we were able to invite our friends over without any restrictions or headcounts. It made hosting our gathering completely stress-free. Highly recommend!

What an amazing place! The Governor's Mansion is a beautifully landscaped, well-maintained boutique hotel with so much history and charm. The rooms are spacious, impeccably clean, and bright. The staff are all very professional, kind and helpful. If you want a relaxing and pampered place, the Governor's Mansion is a good choice.

The property is very nice but it is the staff that makes it so special. From the moment you walk through the front door you are pampered and made to feel special. Definitely opt for the Club Floor. The afternoon tea and evening snack/ dinner in the club lounge is great and included in the price.

Beautiful Hotel with three amazing restaurants with delectible and savory food. Lounge with great beverages and excellent food with friendly and prompt staff who anticipate your needs. Great place just outside the city, Worth the stay. Suite was spacious and service was good!

I had a 22 day stay while visiting around Yangon. The best part about this hotel was the staff. Everyone that worked there was friendly and kind. That fact alone makes this a great place to stay. This was a 5 star stay at budget friendly prices.
