This property is currently under construction and is operating as a sad, skeleton version of what it's advertised as.
We stayed here last year for our wedding weekend and decided to come back for our one year anniversary. Unfortunately, a change in management and this unmentioned construction has completely turned us off from making this an annual tradition.
We checked-in after dragging suitcases over a plywood ramp and waited at an empty gate for someone to spot us and come open the door. The is no lobby (no biggie), but what we didn't realize this meant was that there was also no:
-Room Service (ouch)
-Mini-Bar (double ouch)
-Service (or anyone) at the "pool deck" (although there was a very thoughtful jug of hot water, with no cups left out for us)
We are not picky people, but for $300 a night, you expect a certain level of "hotel:
