Had a fantastic stay at Haggs Farm, Catherine was very friendly and even introduced us to the animal residents which was fun. The room was very clean, cosy and perfect for an overnight stay. The breakfast was great too. Highly recommended.

A lovely B&B, we received a warm welcomed by Catherine on arrival. The room was stunning with a huge walk-in shower. Breakfast was amazing, selection of cereals, yoghurts, fresh fruits, orange juice. The cooked breakfast was beautifully presented, hot and tasty. We would definitely stay again was

Beautiful accommodation

We went to York to surprise my mum for her 70th birthday and stayed with Catherine. The B&B was everything it states. Catherine was an amazing host, very friendly and welcoming. The accommodation was beautiful, we were very happy with our stay and want to return at some point, thankyou

Catherine is a wonderful hostess, the place is clean and comfortable and beautifully presented. The farm is in the middle of nowhere but within short distances to villages with pubs or the park and ride to take you to York. The room had everything we needed and it was spacious, the bed was comfortable, tea and coffee provided with fresh milk available in the kitchenette. Breakfast is cooked fresh to order and was delicious, nothing was too much trouble. One of my favourite B&B’s ever, I can’t recommend it enough!

We traveled for two weeks around the UK and this was one of the best stays. The owner bent over backwards to make sure we were comfortable. The room was spotless and very nicely appointed. The home cooked breakfast to order was excellent. As I said, one of our favorites.

We truly had a wonderful stay at this property. The host was more than willing to do anything for us. Initially we could not find the property, but Kathryn came out to the Little Village, where we had stopped and brought us to the property. The room was fantastic. The room was absolutely beautiful the bed was comfortable, spotlessly clean, and breakfast the next morning was absolutely smashing. We will definitely stay again, and we highly recommend this lodging to anyone else.

Fantastic host, so attentive, kind and considerate. Will go out of her way to help. Delicious cooked breakfast, fresh berries, yoghurts and cereal on offer. Clean well maintained accommodation. Only improvement I can make would be a mirror in bedroom near a socket where you can use a hairdryer and straighteners, luckily I brought my own.

As soon as we arrived, our host, Catherine came out to greet us and show us to our lovely room. The room, which overlooked the farm yard was very spacious with a really comfortable bed and a clean, modern en-suite. Catherine met us downstairs for breakfast. The breakfast was first class with fresh food cooked to perfection. We would highly recommend this B&B. This lovely farm is in the countryside and a car is needed to get around.

Our stay at Colton haggs farm couldn't have been more perfect, Catherine was absolutely amazing, couldn't do enough for us, very friendly, happy and very welcoming definitely goes that extra mile to make your stay perfect! The room was beautiful, so clean and you don't need for anything. Perfect location for us and Catherine recommended a little cosy pub not far from the B&B called bags head, it was a lovely little pub, very welcoming, beautiful food and lovely and warm. The breakfast was amazing in the morning, again Catherine went that extra mile cooked breakfast was so tasty. We will definitely return to this beautiful B&B, thankyou for a perfect stay Catherine, will look forward to seeing you again 🙂

Where to start with this wonderful B&B? Excellent communication from owner Catherine when I enquired about leaving the car there before check in time as we were attending York Races.Catherine arranged early check in and advised on taxis to the Races. The whole B&B is very tastefully decorated with very high quality everywhere beds are an absolute dream! Breakfast is outstanding freshly cooked beautifully presented and top quality! This is a working farm with calves loving life and Betty the cat ruling the roost - this place has to be seen to be believed. Catherine is an amazing host and this place is a total credit to her - I’ve stayed at many great B&B’s but if Heineken did B&B’s this would be it !

Owner was the perfect host - nothing was too much. Bedroom was lovely - very comfortable and clean. Plenty of storage and hanging space. Breakfast was excellent, cooked to order. Plenty of options. Absolutely lovely

The area is lovely quiet and open being a farm. The hostess was friendly. The room and surrounding areas had real nice touches and very echo friendly. Would highly recommend. Haven't had breakfast yet but I just know it will be stonking.
