The external of the building was quite dated and even a little ramshackle. When we finally got to our rooms though they were very clean and well-maintained. Reception was a bit hidden miss in terms of when it was open there were several signs about opening times that was quite confusing.

The hotel is right at the traffic lights . So all night you heard the trucks breaking and motorbikes going pass. 3 hours sleep after travelling for 8hrs not good. The bed was like sleeping on a plank of wood. It was so hard it hurt my back. Staff were great when checking in. Shame the noise and the bed for comfort let the experience down.On the directions it showed hotel away for main highway.

The room was not clean, hot drink cups and water glasses were dirty. The bed was old, springs were poking through the mattress, and it had a large roll into the middle. The two packets of packed biscuits tasted stale even though they were within date. The unit/room was adequate in size for a brief stay although it is very old and could do with an overhaul. Staff sounded pleasant over the phone when having to call for the late check-in code, although we didn't see staff during our stay. late arriving and early departure.

Could not park car due to small parking bays plus half parking was blocked off. Exit area was blocked by a car . The double glazed windows in room was smashed letting In noise from the Bruce highway just 20m away. Screen doors missing from spower cubicle, two TV'S in room only one worked at 40% . Spoke to staff about issues , nice smiles NOT my problem Owner won't fix. Out of 10 = 0

Conveniently located and perfect for a quick, efficient overnight stay. The carpark was also very convenient, with direct access to the rooms. The room and bathroom were impressively clean. There was a bit of a musty smell when we first entered, but the air cleared as soon as we turned on the air conditioning. I especially appreciated that the bathroom didn't steam up after a shower! The bed was comfortable, though worth noting it’s two singles joined together (fine as long as you don't sleep right in the middle). The "kitchenette"was well-stocked with a fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, and even tea/coffee/milk. Don’t expect a view, but for a late arrival and early departure, the key safe made everything seamless. Very reliable and tidy.

Property was under electrical construction with no proper lighting in stairwells. No staff on duty early evening or early morning. This place does not have an elevator if you check in after 5:30 and it is a one or two flights of stairs to get to the first and second floors. Price point was good and rooms were reasonably quiet for being next to a main road overpass.

Bathroom clean and quite functional, bed and linen clean and ok. However, because of the noise outside the owners decided to soundproof the windows which means that they can not be opened. Ever. So the only ‘fresh air is via an aircon unit. This is a serious impediment for us. Corridors dark and dingy. So here is a good example that you get what you pay for - dated and very basic.
