Bed Bugs Unfortunately

Poor experience given the price paid which was $30 per night for a dormitory. The breakfast buffet is minimal and dissolved quickly by people who literally thrust it into their bags without any oversight, and from thereon it isn't replenished correctly for all the other guests.The guy responsible for making the breakfast was super rude too. The entire place isn't effectively cleaned either which is sadly the reason why I have to give 1 star. Even with the few negatives expressed, I was itching the first few days and on checkout I saw bed bugs on my linen. Honestly...the cleaning staff are well over 60 years of age, so anything that requires bending or stretching remains sodden in filth - notably the top rim of the shower. Further to the latter, though all the staff bar the breakfast guy were really friendly especially the manager, there were no towels available for new guests as they didn't have enough. Consequently they actually bought me a towel as a gift to keep which is exceptional hospitality, but still quite a mishap for everyone else. I was also offered cake and drinks adding to the already welcoming feel of the place, though further to that expressed already, the WiFi didn't really work on the top floor and functions poorly and sporadically throughout. I wish I could give a better review, but bed bugs is by default a 1 star review. Nonetheless, I give my sincerest regards to everyone at reception for the warm hospitality.

Bom, mas não tem ar condicionado

Minha experiência foi boa. A localização da hospedagem é boa. Local seguro, perto de varios estabelecimentos. O banheiro/ vestiário com vários chuveiros é ótimo, (não precisa ficar esperando um sair para o outro entra e pode usar sem pressa) atendimento muito bom, local muito limpo. O ponto extremamente negativo é a falta de ar condicionado no quarto. O Rio de Janeiro é extremamente quente com temperaturas acima dos 30 graus, principalmente no verão, as casas atras do hostel tem telhas o que faz aumentar ainda mais a temperatura. O quarto possui apenas 2 ventiladores de teto o que não supri em uma cidade de temperatura de 35 graus. Durante o dia ninguém aguenta ficar muito tempo no quarto. As janelas abertas para aumentar ventilação,fazem entrar luz quando amanhece e o hospede está dormindo. Enfim… a falta de ar condicionado traz muito desconforto. O único ambiente com ar condicionado é a recepção.

Não tinha toalha.

Infelizmente acho que foi o pior hostel que já fiquei , desculpas , mas não havia toalha para locar para tomar banho, os armários muitos, não tinham o de colocar o cadeado. Não vi ventilador, as tomadas do banheiro não funciona, do lado da cama é bem difícil achar tomada de as que tem é bem disputado. Infelizmente foi bem Ruim.

Nesta hospedagem, nem de graça!

Simplesmente terrível, quarto em um andar e banheiro no andar superior, quarto compartilhado com armários sem fechadura, o hotel falou que não se responsabilizava por objetos no quarto, no anúncio se entende que tem estacionamento, porém o estacionamento é particular, super caro e não tem nada com hospedagem. Café da manhã muito fraco, portas das privadas sem tranças, os box para banho sem fechamento. Não forneceram toalha para mim, vi um hóspede no dia 19/01, logo que cheguei, discutindo com o recepcionista e deixando a hospedagem antes da data, no dia 20/01 as7:30 , quando também eu estava deixando a hospedagem menos de 24 horas que entrei, um outro hóspede estava também discutindo com a recepção, porque sai e sua coisas ficaram em um quarto e quando voltou não encontrou nada, haviam mudado seu quarto. Nunca mais quero essa hospedagem...

Local, precário, estrutura deprimente, banheiro sem cubo das Pias, quarto com piso de madeira horrível, cama ao deitar quebrou ao meio, COLCHÃO sem conforto, café da manhã péssimo, um funcionário chamado Juliano sem nenhuma aptidão para lidar com público, sem pulseira no pulso dos hóspedes para identificar que é ou não hóspede. RESUMINDO Hostel só de nome pq na realidade parece mais um puxadinho. Não recomendo. Preferível pagará um pouco mais caro em outro do que nesse.

O inferno é aqui

Reservei, de última hora, uma cama no alojamento feminino numa noite em que todos os hotéis da cidade estavam ocupados (era feriado e tinha o show da Taylor Swift). Eu sabia que o hostel era simples e só queria um lugar seguro para dormir por umas horas antes de viajar de volta pra casa. Eu só não imaginava que esse hostel não ofereceria condições mínimas para meu descanso. O quarto fedia e simplesmente não tinha ventilação adequada. Havia, sim, um ventilador, mas ele era extremamente fraco e posicionado de modo que não alcançava todas as camas (mas, de novo, ele era fraco demais pra ter efeito). Isso tornava impossível dormir. De fato, nenhuma pessoa dormiu no quarto naquela noite quente, era inviável. O pessoal preferiu ficar na rua ou na cozinha (que tinha ar condicionado). Eu, que estava exausta e precisava muito dormir, fui até uma sala comum que tinha um ventilador mais potente e dormi ali, no sofá, sem ter certeza se estava ou não segura. Dormi mal e fui acordada às 4h30 por um funcionário que me expulsou porque um velho que mora no local queria assistir TV. Resumo: O hostel não oferece condições mínimas de conforto. Fujam.

Bom, mas falta um mínimo de estrutura para o verão

O antendimento, em geral, é bom, mas o hostel peca em alguns itens básicos. É inadmissível que no verão do Rio de Janeiro não haja equipamentos suficientes para deixar o quarto mais agradável de se dormir. O ventilador de teto não dava conta e sequer havia um outro para usar como auxiliar, já que as camas debaixo do beliche não recebiam vento. Como se não bastasse, também não tinha nenhum produto repelente de pernilongos que, sem uma ventilação adequada, atacavam à noite. Isso sem falar que, na descrição das acomodações aqui no Hotéis.com, dizia que o quarto tinha ar-condicionado, o que não era verdade. Outro ponto negativo é o café da manhã, que se resumia a duas ou três opções de fruta e pão com margarina. Zero proteínas. Apesar disso, o hostel é muito bem localizado, em uma região segura e agradável do Rio de Janeiro, próximo ao Metrô e a pontos turísticos. O banheiro era amplo e servia bem, mesmo sendo coletivo, e o prédio era bem conservado.

Assolutamente Consigliato!

Ostello un po' datato ma gestito in maniera ottimale: è pulito, il personale è molto gentile, e inoltre, dato il periodo Covid, hanno avuto l'accortezza di organizzare le stanze in modo da fare avere agli ospiti meno contatti possibili: io e mio marito siamo stati 10 giorni da soli in una camerata da 6, cosa molto apprezzata per la sicurezza di tutti e per la rarità con cui accade!!! Cucina spaziosa e ben attrezzata, posizione ottima sia per la metro a pochi passi di distanza, sia per il bel quartiere e la possibilità di raggiungere i maggiori siti turistici tranquillamente a piedi. Super soddisfatti!

Equipe muito acolhedora, os funcionários foram super atenciosos. O quarto compartilhado é bom, mas só tem dois ventiladores de teto o que faz com que o quarto se torne quase insuportável no calor. Daria a sugestão aos administradores do hostel em colocar ventiladores mais potentes nos quartos compartilhados.
