Hotel was clean & in a good location. Staff was lacking. Our luggage was lost on flights over. The airport told us when it would be delivered to our hotel. I went to reception the day before it was to be delivered because we had a tour the next day. just to give them a heads up. They told me no problem, they would store it until we came back from the tour. The next day, we asked to get our luggage. They said it hadn't been delivered. I called the airport. They said the receptionist told them there was no one staying there by our name. We needed the luggage so we had to pay $40+ to ride to the airport and back. The staff eventually admitted that is what happened, but did not so much as apologize. When we checked out, my husband got a beer & we sat down for him to drink it before leaving. The receptionist overheard me talking about them not even apologizing & offered us a hot chocolate (still didnt apologize). $40 for a hot chocolate! I feel they could've at the least offered breakfast that day, but even just an apology wouldve been appreciated. Also, the bar checkout was always either out of change or the system was down. One day, the system was down so he asked could he charge it to the room. My husband agreed. But then he said he could take a card. So, my husband paid assuming the system came back up. He charged it to the room & the card we later found out. At that point, we were done and my husband just repaid for the same beer to clear the room account.
