Cute renovated motel by Acadia National Park

The motel was great, the staff, location and cute rooms were perfect for our two day getaway in Acadia National Park. The free shuttle stops right in front of the hotel taking you to downtown Bar Harbor (recommend because parking downtown is not as available and costs money), but the stretch is also not too bad to walk. The breakfast was very good, lots of selection but I’d suggest to get there before 7:30 am to beat the morning rush.

A great location to visit Acadia NP, boat excursion and Bar Harbor. We enjoyed our room and loved the retro vibe of the hotel. The hotel had nightly activities and items to borrow (ex hiking poles)- the hotel has gone above expectations for additional enjoyment.

I'd strongly recommend Bar Harbor Motel as a place to stay, the rooms were spacious and clean, loved the shower other then the shower base being extremely slippery, the staff was very friendly and the breakfast that is offered with the room had plenty of choices. One of our most memorable places we stayed during our 2 week motorcycle trip. On a scale from 1-10 I'd rate it an 11.

Very cute place with a retro theme. Great customer service. They even gave welcome little toys to my kids. The room are so clean, this place is just at the foothils of Acadia national park. Breakfast was very nice and delicious.
