We had a lovely stay at this unique hotel, set in a beautifully restored old monastery. The historic atmosphere is truly special, with tasteful modern touches throughout. The courtyards are a highlight—plenty of cozy sitting areas and lounge chairs, perfect for relaxing. We enjoyed the charming café and on-site restaurant.
The rooms themselves are quite basic—meant to be a dormitory accommodations rather than a typical hotel—but they were very clean and functional. The bathroom and shower were compact but newly renovated, with great water pressure.
The overall ambiance of the hotel is what made the experience memorable. That said, it would be great if some rooms were reimagined with a bit more hotel-style comfort, rather than dorm rooms. The reception area could also be improved to feel more like a welcoming lobby rather than a plain office.
We also enjoyed the neighborhood. It’s a bit farther from the main tourist sites, but it felt quieter, less crowded, and more authentic.
Overall, a charming place with great atmosphere.
