There are food options around the premises and convenient shops are nearby. I will definitely book this hotel again if I am visiting Taipei again.

The hotel is right opposite Taipei main station, making it very easy to travel within or outside of the city. I booked a single bed but got upgraded to a double bedroom, nice gesture from the staff indeed! The room is compact but is more than enough for a solo traveller. Mattress is comfy, shower is powerful, the place is clean overall so I’m happy. You cant hear the outside noise but partition inside is rather poor, if one talk very loud you can hear it inside your room.
