I had low expectations for this hotel and was still disappointed. I only booked here out of necessity since there are limited options in the area but room was terrible. Very dirty, mold all over in the shower, they advertised a “kitchen” but only got a mini fridge and coffee maker, no garbage can in the room, missing many of the usual amenities such as a blow drier or microwave, tv didn’t work, the list goes on. For $275 per night this is terribly disappointing

We stayed at David Thompson Resort during our Rocky Mountain tour and it was truly a highlight of the trip. The location is stunning, right in the heart of the Rockies, away from the crowds. The room was comfortable and clean, and waking up to that mountain view in the morning made everything feel special. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Overall it was a peaceful and memorable experience and we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for something a little different on their Rocky Mountain adventure.

The staff was extremely helpful when we first arrived. They went above and beyond to help get us settled in quickly even though we arrived early. The further away from the office the less reliable the wifi was but you are literally in the middle of nowhere there. All in all it was a good stay

Beautiful site with mountains and wildlife all around. Very helpful staff and quiet rooms. Room was modernized but needs a few touch ups. Only complaint is power kept going out and wifi was very spotty. But to be honest it’s a great trade off to being in the mountains! The restaurant on site had the most amazing smoked meat. Not a lot of variety, but what we ordered was very tasty.

Beautiful setting, but very basic rooms. Could definitely use a refresh. Could also use attention to detail in cleaning, especially bathrooms. Wifi was erratic depending on proximity to office which was frustrating for such a simple fix. All in all, for the price I expected much more. Shout out to the restaurant. The breakfast was excellent, as was the coffee in the store. Staff were amazing.

The staff were terrific. The room was very good. The restaurant was delicious. The store was missing many things that campers and other visitors might need, especially diet sodas. The store had almost nothing with the name of the resort on as advertising and keepsakes. The WiFi internet was glitchy. It would cut out often.

Considering the price, which was not low, we were not at all satisfied with this place. The room was not clean, when we arrived. A lot of dust and not clean floor. We were there for 4 nights and that was far too much! We did not receive roomservice for the whole period although we had put up the sign. So we had to empty trash bin, collect toiletpaper, tissues & clean/dry towels ourselves in the reception. The towels were not able to get dry either ind the bathroom nor the sleepingroom. It seems as if the place takes advantage of the remoteness and the lack of competion around. Positive notes: The area is very interesting Naturewise. The restaurant connected to the resort was nice. Well cooked food to reasonable prices and especially the waiters were kind and effective.

It was a great location and amazing for the price. Check in was easy. Views are amazing. The Reno’s that were done were really bad. Missing floor pieces. The room was clean but the bathroom around and behind the toilet had dirt/dust that looked like it had been there for months. Just not a deep clean. If they had that cleaned up I would have given it a 5 star
