I highly recommend staying here. It is a country setting, with well maintained, peaceful grounds. The rooms are comfortable and it is a restful atmosphere. There is easy access to the highway that allows you to head north and see the entire coastline of Door County. We would come back!

Absolutely beautiful!

The property is beautiful and very well maintained. It would be hard for anyone not to fall in love with this place. Amazing chocolate chip cookies at check-in, breakfast delivered to your door, huge whirlpool tub in room with fireplace all in a very convenient area for dinning and activities. Rooms are clean and cozy. We will definitely be coming back here for years to come.

Perfect couple getaway!

This is an amazing bed and breakfast. Well-maintained and obviously meticulously run, it is a perfect couple getaway place. Close but not too close to town, set in an idyllic farm (complete with sheep roaming the grounds!). Room (we stayed at the Rose) was superb...attention to detail by owners is obvious. Breakfast was amazing: brought to our room, we ate privately in our balcony overlooking the property. Quality was five star all around. Darrin (one of the owners) is super nice and made our stay memorable. Highly recommended!

6/10 Good

Didn't care for the check in and check out,no instructions on how to use things in the room.Didn't feel like a real Bed and Breakfast experience.
Kathleen, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

We loved how beautiful the property was and our room. We loved the antique theme. The owner was so nice and friendly. The breakfasts were awesome! We liked the soap in the bathroom too. The location was excellent. It only took a few minutes to go to the attractions there. We didn't like the smoke (wood) smell in our room. It never went away. The sofa in our room was not very comfortable.
Brian, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Beautiful place with great staff and breakfast delivered to your door! Our room (the garden room) faced a shared deck which meant we had to have our blinds closed if we wanted any privacy. Additionally, the ventilation in the room was not pretty poor and made the room very stuffy. Overall still a great place to stay, just maybe not in the garden room.
Imadh, 2-night trip

Our stay in Chanticleer Guest House was amazing. It is everything you expect to spend a wonderful couple getaway. The decoration was outstanding, and the surroundings were simply gorgeous and calm. And the breakfast, delicious! Chanticleer is a true hidden treasure in Door County. We definitely will back! Telma y Emilio.

A wonderful stay!

My husband and I celebrated 25 years of marriage at the Chanticleer. It was so quiet, relaxing and a much needed time of reconnection for us. The breakfast was delicious, delivered to our door every morning at the requested time. We highly recommend and would love to come back again!
