It is on route 66 which is cool but it is also in a state of needing repairs like the mother road.

Parts were clean, others were not.

For the price and how old the location is, I was pleasantly surprised at how clean it looked and our stay was great!

The place was very dirty the towels were dirty the bathroom was very dirty the wall in the shower was inflated and felt like it was going to fall down weird stains on walls and bedframe it also was very dirty at the front office the staff was very obnoxious and with a unfriendly attitude the front office there was a dog and the front office was also filled with dirty boxes which says a lot because we have stayed in hotels that are in better condition and for less money.

It’s the worst hotel I have ever lived, there is a dog in front of the office, roar to me ,and run to me,scare and can’t leave the car.the shower water is no hot enough ,even we take a shower with all hot Water, but still no hot, just warm.the AC is terrible, noisy all the night, but no hot enough,my wife and me get a cold after the night,it is terrible for us

The place is lovingly cared for by a family. We really enjoyed the route 66 experience. This is genuinely a hotel with history!

With a little more effort and love it could be very charming.

2/10

This motel has to be the worst Motel I have stayed in 20 years. The room was broken, tiles falling off the bathroom walls, the water was barely hot in the shower, and overall it was a run down old Motel.

4/10

This hotel could use a remodel.

Learn English! Bathroom was disgusting. Toilet paper looked like it had been completely soaked with water at some point. Shower curtain was stained with a reddish-brown substance. around the bottom part. Floors were uneven and sinking. AC/Heat unit very loud WAY TOO EXPENSIVE for this dump. No wonder there were only 5 cars in the parking lot! And see the title.Motel needs to be investigated for unsafe operation.

Good for the budget but the floor was sloping and it could use a remodel.
1-night trip

2/10

Door did not latch ,room was filthy, sheets were stained and covered in dog hair, feces stained walls in bathroom and tiles broken and crumbling on floor, room was cold and the room stunk of cigarettes and I am not sure if the woman at the desk could speak or understand English if we hadn't paid in advance we would never have stayed but didn't have a choice with her not understanding anything I said. Thank God for the sleeping bag and extra blankets I carry in my car or we wouldn't have had anything clean to sleep on. This place is not fit for humans.
1-night trip

10/10

Hotel was quiet, comfortable, and satisfying. Bathroom was clean but had strange odor. Water didn’t drain well. Room was just what we needed for the price point.

Property was dirty and poorly keep.

In one word, NASTY. I never complain, but the health department should inspect this place.

Definitely wasn’t queen beds as advertised, smelled like old cottage, shower was disgusting and had stuck drain

Toilet and TV didn’t work. I’m sure the other rooms are fine and ok for the price.

8/10

The hotel is well-maintained, but just very old, so it gives the impression of being far poorer quality than it really is. Old fixtures and so on. I am NOT complaining, but first impressions can be a little off-putting. The place is historic, I think, so maybe they can eventually do something for that. Great staff and like I said, they handle the property very well.

We unexpectedly needed a room; it was late and we were tired. We wanted cheap, clean, and accessible. Route 66 Inn fit the bill. Very clean, in good repair, equipped with tv, fridge, & I think a microwave, a surprisingly comfortable bed & pillows. Check-in was fast (it was very late), motel guy was nice & efficient. Its an old place and nothing fancy, but very well kept & clean. Definite recommend!

The room seemed clean, but it smelled bad. We also saw black mold on the bottom of the wall in the bathroom. We forfeited our money and went to a Super 8 down the street.
