Since we had an early morning flight, the hotel thoughtfully prepared a packed breakfast for us, which was greatly appreciated. The location is excellent, just a short walk from Plaza de Armas, making it easy to explore the area. We were also welcomed with a thoughtful welcome pack, which was a lovely touch and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. This hotel was adorable and convenient to the entire historic district! The patio and breakfast room were wonderful areas, and the rooms felt cozy. Everything was very clean and the staff were very helpful whenever needed, including booking tours, reserving taxis, and storing luggage. They also offered breakfast to-go boxes for early departures, and went above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome.

La Posada del Viajero was the perfect place to stay in Cuzco for my family. Our family stayed 3 nights here. It was in walking distance of everything - the main square, churches and numerous restaurants. Our tour for Machu Picchu left at 4am, and they were so kind and had a bagged breakfast waiting for us since we were going to miss breakfast. And the staff was wonderful - they even came to our room to assist in updating the tv so it would be in English for us. Would highly recommend this hotel. Wonderful staff.

The people at the counter are very nice. They pack you a lunch if you are going to leave on a trip very early in the morning which is really helpful due to most trips starting around 4 am. Coca tea is available for the guests, a genuine lifesaver if you get altitude sickness.

Very kind staff and excellent location. Great breakfast. This is an old building with a central courtyard. Rooms are not sound proof so bring your earplugs. We stayed 2 different times and some mattresses were great, others not so much. For the price, it was worth it.
