Had a difficult time to get hot water in the morning in spite of confirmation during the reservation. Eventually got hot water from Anna in cafeteria who also kindly provided all of tourist attraction parking tips.The room we stayed has a beautiful tranquilent garden with s spacious balcony.

Beautiful location in the mountains and great amenities for kids in the main room. Lovely breakfast and friendly staff. The bedrooms were missing basic amenities (like electric kettle), which made it inconvenient. Location is also not convenient for Sinatra main attractions.

This hotel is clean and comfortable but not luxurious. The staff are friendly and helpful, most of them speak English. The bedroom was quite spacious, the bed comfortable and very clean, as was the shower room with plenty of hot water. The room did not have a fridge or a safe. Breakfast was a buffet. There was no hot food but plenty of choice of cold cuts, cheese, cereals, bread etc. It is quiet with nice views of Sintra and the surrounding villages.

Long story short, we were enjoying our honeymoon in Portugal and accidentally book this hotel for the wrong dates. I think it wasn’t more than 5 minutes when I asked for a date change it was the week before, and they denied. I decided to keep the reservation because in the end I paid for the service but I think they could’ve done better.

Amazing place to stay near Sintra in a quiet area, amazing garden. The hotel has a pool table, a little kids area, electric bike rental. The breakfast was very convenient. The rooms are spacious, a little bit old but very clean. We stayed with our 3 kids and we found the place very kids friendly. There is no restaurant on site but there is a grocery near the hotel and the staff can heat your meal with pleasure.

Abbiamo soggiornato per una notte durante il nostro itinerario di viaggio. Per una sola notte va più che bene. Si vede che la struttura necessita di manutenzione. Il bagno presentava molti lavori approssimativi. I teli messi a disposizione erano sporchi. Nota positiva: buona e abbondante colazione, personale disponibile e accogliente.

Très bien comme hôtel, l’autobus pour visiter Sintra se prend devant l’hôtel et pour 2.60 euros vous dépose dans le centre-ville même. Colares est un petit village et le choix des restaurants était restreint. La tranquillité des jardins de l’hôtel nous a permis de nous remettre du décalage horaire...
