Didn't see much of the hotel, but did get a nice evening-drink sitting outside and enjoying the view with the lake and mountains. We had hoped it was possible to stroll a walk along the lake, but we couldn't.

Lovely hotel in an idyllic setting by Lake Lucerne. Only a one night stay on our journey from Italy to Uk which was a shame as the hotel is so good. Nice room, views over the lake, comfortable, clean and a lovely breakfast next morning. Good selection of continental breakfast plus scrambled egg or boiled eggs. Coffee machine provided the best cappucino ever. We arrived too late in the evening to use the restaurant but it looked lovely .Reception team are excellent too so friendly & efficient. We will definitely visit again. Good parking too

Stop Off On Our Way To Italy

The staff were fantastic and both are evening meal and breakfast was very good. I guess they it was unfortunate that we visited in the middle of a heat wave as having no air conditioning and only a fan held together by gaffer tape brought our rating down. Swimming in the lake was fun.

A classic hotel right on the shore of Vierwaldstädtersee, with an amazing view of the lake and the mountains. Very friendly staff. Very good breakfast. Parking included in the price. Clean. Towels changed every day. Good wifi. The ferry to Gersau departs right from the spot. The hotel itself has seen better days and could benefit of a refurbishment. No minibar/fridge.

Very lovely location on the lake. Directly next to the ferry. Staff were so nice and helpful. It didn't have a fridge but they offered to put our things in the fridge downstairs. We ened up just getting ice and that was fine. Breakfast was amazing! Grocery store 3 minutes down road by car.

This property is situated on a stunning lake. The customer service experience was inconsistent. The food at the restaurant was fantastic; however, they closed the kitchen at 9:30 PM, even on weekends. Hotel guests would benefit greatly if they were given priority for reservations or dining at the restaurant, or if the kitchen hours were extended. Additionally, the hotel should invest in air conditioning for the rooms, as they tended to be warm during the night.

Great location. Right next to the lake. A 3 min walk to the bus stop that connects you to Stans, and there on, a train, to Luzern or Engleberg. Rooms are a little small, but tidy. Breakfast is ok. Friendly staff. Definitely suggested, if you are.looking for a quiet and relaxed getaway.
