Okay hotel.

The hotel was very nice. There are many things that are good and others that are not so good. PROS: -Elegant and nice looking hotel. Makes you feel at home. -Nice breakfast. -Friendly staff. CONS: -All the restaurant was reserved for an event of Herbalife so that didn't give the guests the opportunity to have a nice and comfortable meal when necessary. So the restaurant is not 100% available for guests and there is noise because of the microphones they use. -The room is EXTREMELY small. -There is no closet, only shelves. -Hard to walk because there is no space, same with the bathroom. I think is an okay hotel is you are only staying for one night.

I was really disappointed with my stay. For the price, the rooms are very small, smell old, and are not worth the cost. The worst part was arriving late after already paying through Expedia, only to have the owner insist that I pay a second time directly to him. He refused to let me check in and was very rude, leaving me stranded with my luggage while I spent a long time on the phone with Expedia, with no taxis available that late. It was a very stressful way to end the day, and unfortunately the experience completely ruined my impression of the hotel.

I chose this hotel for my last night as it was conveniently close to the airport. The front door is secured, which adds a nice layer of safety, as visitors must ring a bell for entry. Check-in was smooth, and I was promptly directed to my room on the first floor. The room itself was cozy, albeit small, which is perfectly fine for a short stay of just one or two nights. While there was no comforter, the lack of one wasn't an issue since the room was quite warm. It was equipped with both a fan and air conditioning, ensuring a comfortable environment. One of the highlights was the beautiful garden area. Each room on the first floor has a set of chairs outside, providing a lovely spot to relax. Wi-Fi is included, which is a great perk. However, I would recommend noting that breakfast is not included when booking through Hotels.com, and it costs around $8 USD if you choose to purchase it. The hotel is situated in a bustling area with plenty of restaurants, shopping options, and familiar franchise eateries nearby. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and would definitely consider returning in the future.

Friendly staff, tasty breakfast, simple rooms

Very friendly helpful staff. Very good Costa Rican style breakfast served in beautiful courtyard. Rooms were fairly simple with ceiling fan and one extra fan as well as bathroom. The ceiling fan worked well enough that we didn't use the extra fan even though the day temperature was approximately 35C.

Terrific location, safe & friendly.

Spent two days in Liberia. Wonderful location in the center of Liberia next to the Parque Mario Canas Ruiz. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Delicious breakfast included. Great courtyard to relax. Will definitely return again!
